Côte d’Ivoire-AIP/ Closure of a medico-social center in Marcory for alleged “legislative fraud”

Abidjan, The Health Police of the Ministry of Health, Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage closed, on Friday, January 21, 2022, the PMA Medico-Social Center for an indefinite period. (CMO-PMA) of Marcory for alleged “legislative fraud”.

The CMO-PMA health center was closed for violation of text, falsification of administrative documents, use of forgery, imitation of signature of a governmental authority.

“We asked for authorization to practice from this health center, and we were given a certificate with the falsified signature of the Minister of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage, Pierre N’gou Dimba”, said the head of the health police service Dr Bozou Ahoussi.

Twenty-four hours before its closing, a notice of immediate cessation of activities with evacuation of hospitalized patients to suitable establishments was filed within this center built in R + 2 with hospitalization room, research laboratory and a unit mobile, said Dr Bozou.

A complaint was also filed against the promoters of this establishment for imitation of signature. Other sanctions are also announced to punish this indelicacy.
