Man arrested for alleged possession of cannabis at Oranjemund

A 32-year-old Namibian male was found in possession of Cannabis valued at N.dollars 101500 during a police search on Friday at Oranjemund.

According to a crime report issued on Sunday, the Namibian Police Force stated that the 32-year-old was arrested after he was found dealing 2030 grams of cannabis at around 18h00.

The suspect was arrested and police investigations are still on going, the police said.

In another incident, an unknown suspect allegedly broke into two rooms and stole properties valued at N.dollars 3936 on Saturday at Mahohoma mission in Katima Mulilo.

The police stated that the suspect used an unknown object to cut the padlock and gained entrance of the two rooms at around 04h00, where he then allegedly stole two mattrasses, one bag, one washing basket, three pairs of shoes, one laptop, two duvet covers, two pillow cases and one table cover.

No recovery of the stolen items has been made, nor has any arrest been made relating to the alleged theft.

Police investigations continue.
