Côte d’Ivoire-AIP / Credit Access is committed to improving the living conditions of the populations of Bouaké

Abidjan, Sept 17, 2021 (AIP) -Processing the opening of the Bouaké branch on September 11, 2021 in the presence of the Minister of Transport Amadou Koné, the Director General of Credit Access, Ali Badini pledged the commitment of his microfinance institution to contribute to improving the living conditions of the populations of the capital of Gbêkè.

Has this commitment developed through active participation in the financing of the local economy of Bouaké by supporting traders, artisans, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), employees and any economic actor carrying out income-generating activities? , reports an information note sent to the AIP.

“Yes, Credit access SA intends to support the population of Bouaké, and help improve their living conditions. You will now be able to count on us to support all those who carry out their income-generating activities in the territory of the Gbêkê region ”, launched the Director General.

The said agency, operational since August 2020, has posted remarkable performance with a client portfolio of nearly 2,500 clients, plus two billion CFA francs in loans distributed to nearly 300 borrowers.

In his speech, Mr. Badini recalled that its decentralized financial system created since 2003 is composed of 100% Ivorian capital.

Specialized in the granting of credit, the collection of savings but also exercises in the distribution of electronic payment, insurance and money transfer products, the microfinance institution has set itself the mission of offering services. adapted to low-income social strata and aims to reach all active components of the population through a diversified, attractive and low-cost offer.

The Minister of Transport, Amadou Koné welcomed this initiative, which is consistent with the government’s vision of improving the living conditions of the populations by creating income-generating activities throughout the national territory.
