The NGO “Actions for the mobilization of development assistance strategies and initiatives” (AMISTAD), in collaboration with the real estate and financial company of the African coast (SIFCA), intends to restore biodiversity d ‘Alépé, through the planting of 2,500 nursery plants thanks to the supervision of women’s associations and students of the department.
“This planting project spans six months. These are 2,500 nursery plants, made up of forest trees, fruit trees and food crops that will not only restore degraded areas, but restore biodiversity through the supervision of associations of women and students ”, declared the president of the NGO, Brice Delagneau, at the launch of the activity as part of the World Environment Day, Saturday June 05, 2021 in Bongo.
This tree plantation, to hear it, helps to better publicize the results of the sustainable development policy in terms of forest protection in Côte d’Ivoire by the NGO AMISTAD, by involving the communities in the integrated agricultural units. in reforestation and agroforestry, he stressed.
According to President Brice Delagneau, the NGO AMISTAD is part of the program initiated by the Ministry of Water and Forests, namely “a school for five hectares of trees”.
Created in 2005, the NGO AMISTAD specializes in the environment.
