The technical service of the town hall of Yopougon made public, on Thursday June 10, 2021, the mapping of areas and sites at risk as a prelude to the rainy season which has just started.
According to an information note from this administration consulted by the AIP, these include, among others, the precarious neighborhoods Gbinta at the Sideci annex, Yao Sehi, Niangon continues, Azito ferme, Mamie Faitai, Banco 2, Koweit Konan Ferran and Banco nord basin .
Other districts such as Academie Pays Bas precisely at the level of fine tar, Laurier Yopougon Kouté west, Monekoi Ayakro-Yoplait located in Gesco Attié, Bouguinisso behind the municipal cemetery of Yopougon, Vatican military camp and Kuwait ravine, Bingerville station located in Kuwait, are also affected.
These places, it is said, are exposed to landslides, drownings, pavement flooding and canal overflows.
