A delegation led by the national president of women of the Rassemblement des Houphouëtistes pour la democratie et la paix (RHDP), Ehui Agnero Odette, met the women of the department of Gueyo, Wednesday, June 9, in in order to obtain a massive mobilization for the choice of the candidate of the party during the partial legislative elections in the region.
Ms. Ehui instructed RHDH activists on the need to strengthen the tools that can further help the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, to implement the Government program. This will help lift the Ivorian population out of poverty. The essential tool is the National Assembly which requires an absolute majority of the RHDP, for a better execution of the projects, she justified.
Thus, she invited the women of Gueyo, in particular the RHDP activists, to come out en masse to give their voice to the local candidate of the ruling party, Marie Noëlle Bogui, on Saturday, June 12.
It was an opportunity for Ms. Ehui Agnero to educate women on how to vote in order to avoid spoiled or blank ballots.
The electoral campaign for the partial legislative elections began on Friday, June 4, 2021 at midnight. It will end on Thursday June 10, 2021 at midnight.
This meeting was also followed by complaints from the women of Gueyo for the development of the department.
